In my last post, I called to arms, asking you to raise your voice… The Victoria EV Club (VEVC) has just done that, twice!, with an open letter to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and BC Premier Christy Clark. The VEVC joint forces with other electric vehicle (EV) organizations and supporters, suggesting measures to be taken by the Canadian and BC Governments to accelerate the transition to sustainable transportation.

Suggested measures cover the areas of Vehicle Availability and Purchase Incentives, Infrastructure, Awareness and Education. Now, how great would it be if you used those two letters as a starting point for your own individual, open letters to your governmental institutions, slightly altered to target your country’s/ regions’s specific challenges?! #StartWith1Thing

To show your support for our cause, join us on May 23, 2016 for the Victoria Day Parade. Make sure to give us a big cheer when we pass the Check News Broadcasting Crew. Stay tuned for more details!
Thank you, Jim, Jim, Fred, Arno, James and Lisa! You are a great bunch of people and we’ve been immensely enjoying our VEVC committee meetings. Sorry to be on the road so much this year, but it’s all for a good (and shared) cause. 😉 Rolf and I will be back on track next year!
