Out of curiosity, why does the projected range always undershoot what you would actually get? Can you plug in your own efficiency value for it to use? Or can you plug in the trailer weight and type and it estimates from there?

The system doesn’t let us enter any data about the trailer. We think that Tesla uses self-learning Software and that there’s just not enough data available yet from all the Model Xs for a realistic prediction. But we don’t know for sure. We do feel that prediction has been improving, but that could also be wishful thinking 😜 Will find out with time. 😃👍🏻
